Silent Falcon UAS maker to distribute in India, Colombia

New Mexico-based UAS manufacturer Silent Falcon UAS Technologies is expanding to Columbia, Malaysia, India, Kansas and Colorado. The company announced it has formed distribution partnerships with multiple entities that will help expand the use of the company’s solar-powered UAV and accessory offerings.

 With Astrike Technologies SAS from Colombia, the first to operate UAVs in the country, Silent Falcon will have a new dealer with expertise in flight operations. In Malaysia, the company has signed with Syber Quest Aerospace. The company provides aerospace solutions to the region. And, in India, USA Indian Aerospace Development Corp. LLC will give Silent Falcon access to a major UAS market. The distribution agreement will also extend into Colorado and Kansas in the U.S. UIAD was specially organized to facilitate the sale of advances, U.S. aerospace systems in India, according to the company. All of the directors for UAID have experience in aircraft systems, and, UAID “has identified several immediate needs in India requiring the reliable operation of unmanned aircraft capable of long-endurance flight,” the company added

 The Albuquerque-based firm using solar power, composite materials, batteries and sensors to create a long-endurance, long-range UAV to carry high-end sensors.
